Farmley Date Bites for Meetings: Count Pieces, Not Jars

22 October 2026

A jar can look generous on a shopping page. Put it beside a meeting for twelve people and the useful question changes: how many individually wrapped pieces are actually inside?

Farmley Date Bites are worth evaluating as a sweet meeting option because the serving unit can be counted. Begin there, then taste the product and read the current label before choosing a quantity.

Check the piece count first

The official Original Date Bites page lists a 200 g pack containing ten 20 g individually packed bites. Treat this as a description of that specific listing, not every flavour, gift format or future pack. Match the offered item to the label on delivery.

For a hypothetical twelve-person meeting with one bite offered to each person, ten pieces would leave two people without that option. Two of the listed jars provide twenty pieces; the eight remaining pieces are reserve stock, not evidence that people should eat more.

Work out the order in pieces

The following is a planning example, not a nutrition recommendation or a real customer order. It assumes one piece per attendee and no additional reserve.

12 people122 jars8
25 people253 jars5

Before rounding a large order upward, subtract usable stock you already hold. Keep unopened stock and loose or opened units separately so the count can be checked. Any after-opening or storage instructions come from the current product label.

Read what the product contains

The Original listing names dates, cashews, almonds, pistachios, honey and ghee. It flags tree nuts. Its “No Refined Sugar” wording should not become a sugar-free, vegan or medical suitability claim in an office menu.

Ask for the current label if a colleague needs ingredient information. Keep the outer pack available when serving individually wrapped pieces, especially if every relevant detail is not visible on each wrapper. Do not assume another flavour has the same composition.

Taste it at the moment you plan to serve it

A short afternoon meeting and an all-day workshop may need different snack arrangements. Offer a sample alongside the usual tea or coffee and ask one concrete question: would people choose this again for that occasion?

Record texture, sweetness preference and whether a single wrapped piece suits the break. Those are taste and format observations. They do not justify calling the product healthier than another snack or making claims about energy, concentration or productivity.

Compare quotes on the same basis

Ask for the exact flavour, unit weight, pieces per sale pack and case quantity. If an actual quoted jar price excluding GST is P, the listed ten-piece format gives a product cost of P ÷ 10 per piece. For the twelve-person example, two jars cost 2 × P before GST; the purchase includes stock left for another occasion.

That formula excludes delivery, gift wrapping, serving materials and staff time. It uses no assumed Farmley price. Consumer website discounts are not a Mediators India quotation, and the supplier should state tax treatment and any order minimum.

Send a useful first enquiry

Share your meeting date, expected attendance, preferred flavour and intended piece count. Request current pack information and delivery confirmation before promising the snack to a group.

See Farmley Date Bites options or send a meeting-snack enquiry. A specific pack and a headcount are a better starting point than “a few jars.”

Frequently asked questions

How many pieces are in the 200 g Original pack?

The current official listing says ten pieces of 20 g each. Confirm the exact offered pack; other formats may differ.

Does “No Refined Sugar” mean sugar-free?

No. Do not turn that product wording into a sugar-free claim. Read the actual ingredients and nutrition label.

Can everyone at a meeting eat them?

Ingredient needs vary. Check the complete current label, including allergens, and do not assume suitability for every guest.

Should we budget per jar or per piece?

Use both: pieces help with attendance, while sale packs determine cash outlay and remaining stock.

Are the website prices our local supply price?

No. Request the actual pack, quantity, GST and delivery quotation for your order.
