4700BC Caramel or Cheese Popcorn? A Meeting Tasting Guide

22 October 2026

Someone wants caramel. Someone else says popcorn should be savoury. Buying a large quantity of either before asking the team is a quick way to discover that both opinions were strongly held.

For 4700BC office snacks, a small tasting can make the first order easier. Compare the actual products and keep the decision tied to the occasion.

Give each flavour its proper name

The official range includes Himalayan Salt Caramel and Hawaiian BBQ Cheese. The former is described around caramel and salt; the latter around cheese and barbeque flavour. Those descriptions help shortlist samples, but do not establish your team's preference.

Check the exact pack and current label for each sample. A brand name or flavour title is not a complete ingredient or allergen declaration. Keep the original packaging available throughout the tasting.

Taste for the meeting you are planning

An afternoon tea break, a training session and an office celebration are different occasions. Tell tasters which one you are choosing for. Ask whether they would choose the sample again in that setting and what, if anything, they would change.

Use a similar chosen allocation of each sample. Do not compare a small taste of one with a full bowl of the other. Record reactions in the team's own words, without labelling a small internal trial a scientific or representative consumer survey.

Plan for people who choose neither

A two-option tasting does not oblige everyone to like one. Record “neither” separately and consider whether another snack already in the pantry is enough for those participants. Avoid turning a simple choice into an expanding order of every available flavour.

For an invented example, eighteen of thirty tasters prefer caramel, nine prefer cheese and three choose neither. That is an observation you could use for a trial order if it really happened—not actual 4700BC preference data. The articles do not claim that caramel generally outsells cheese.

Compare price after checking quantity

Different flavours may be offered in different weights. A low price per container does not automatically mean a low price per gram. Request actual net weights, units per sale pack and quotation terms for each option.

If a quoted price excluding GST is P for W grams, cost per gram is P ÷ W. Multiply by your chosen allocation to estimate ingredient-only serving cost. That calculation excludes GST, delivery, serving materials, staff time and unused opened stock. It is not a recommendation for how much anyone should eat.

Review the first order before repeating it

Count what was opened and what remains after the event. Keep sealed reserves separate from served leftovers and follow the applicable pack instructions. A popular tasting sample may move differently when offered repeatedly in a pantry.

See 4700BC popcorn options or request current packs for comparison. Include the occasion and expected people; exact flavour availability and prices need confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Which flavour is more popular?

This guide has no verified sales or preference ranking. Taste the offered products with the group you are buying for.

Are the sample vote counts real?

No. They are explicitly invented to show how a trial result might be interpreted.

Does cheese flavour tell us the complete ingredients?

No. Read the exact current label for ingredients and allergens.

Can we compare price per tin directly?

Only after checking net weight and tax basis. Different container sizes can make that comparison misleading.

Can we order both flavours locally?

Request confirmation of the exact products and quantities for your address.
